Why doesnt Adipoxil contain ephedrine?

Most comparisons of the effectiveness of ephedrine vs. synephrine are based on a small study of 20 people at the University of Utah that compared these two compounds versus a placebo. The study concluded that the ephedrine formula outperformed synephrine, but the study was based on 24 mg of ephedrine vs. only 10 mg of synephrine. That means the ephedrine formula had a 2.5 times greater amount of an active ingredient. It doesnt take a genius to realize that this is not a fair comparison.



Why doesnt Adipoxil contain yohimbe?

Yohimbe, or its active constituent yohimbine, is a pre-synaptic alpha-2-adrenergic blocking agent that increases sympathetic nervous system activity and increases the amount of adrenaline and noradrenaline in the blood steam. This action also significantly increases blood pressure and heart rate. The use of yohimbine is to bind up the alpha-2 receptors and stimulate the beta receptors to stimulate lipolysis (the release of fatty acids). We have already shown above that 2,3-Aminomutase converts directly to adrenaline and noradrenaline, and that synephrine stimulates the release of these neurotransmitters, which stimulates the beta-3 receptors. This causes a higher rate of lipolysis and the subsequent release of fatty acids into the blood, thus effectively accomplishing the objective of beta-3 stimulation without the adverse side effects associated with alpha-2 blockers.
