  1.  best proteine to get TONED
Been using this product for 6 months now after using dozens of others. This one is by far the best to lose bodyfat and get leaned muscles. Dont use it to get huge. And the taste, are you kidding me? Mix it with milk and banana (or strawberries) and its delicious !

I use the vanilla and stir it into a glass of orange juice and it tastes just like a creamcicle! Great product.

As it is written in the brand this is one of the best protein that i have ever used. i have been training almost 2 years and i can easily say that dont waste your time and money with the other brands. cookies and cream tastes delicious

  1.  Great Stuff
Since it is a whey isolate you won't have any gas or digestive problems like you may get with concentrate. I use the dutch chocolate flavor after trying the vanilla and struggling to finish the bucket. Also to make a great shake, get 12 oz of milk, 1 banana, and throw it in a blender. Almost as good as something you would buy at a restaurant.

Shit i mixed it with milk and it tasted so gross and then i read the directions. But it works good.

  1.  Great if you ask me
I use the strawberries and cream. People say it's not good. But I disagree. It tastes great to me. Like strawberry milk. I'm pretty thin to begin with, but had gained maybe 10 pounds of fat over the last couple years. I lost it with regular workout and isopure in a week, and am now starting to gain the weight back in muscle over about three weeks. Those results are not typical and won't be the same for someone with less of a natural inclination to be shape. But they are pretty good results none the less. Tastes great and is great for you

  1.  Best Tasting Supplement...
I haven't tried the chocolate or strawberry but I have purchased the Vanilla and it is the best tasting vanilla supplemental drink I've ever had! Maybe some of those who have complained about the other flavors should switch to Vanilla.

  1.  Great product, tastes funky
My kids tried it and said "YUCK!" I have the chocolate flavor. The chocolate part tastes good, it just has a funky under taste. It really shouldn't actually gag anybody. Its drinkable. After reading these reviews I was worried about whether or not I could drink it. I'm a dieter. If it tastes too good, I'd drink too many. I bought it because I want to stay healthy and keep my muscle while on this diet. I do not regret buying this product. It is a solid product so I gave it five stars.

Wow - was going to try this and from the reviews i think i will keep away... I did request some sample packs - lets see how those taste and maybe i wil try it out. I was attracted to the carb/prot ratio - but again these taste reviews are a litle scary. I will stick with what i am using for now.. thanks

  1.  Nastiest taste ever !!!!!
I've tried other protein products before using this one and let me tell you that i just cannot take it anymore... just to think about the taste of this crap makes me want to puke. It really taste like garbage.... I've been using it for the past week and i don't think i'll ever finish it it's just too hard to keep it in... It sure does have a good amino acid profile but i'd rather take another protein product and add some BCAA to it.

  1.  Taste is not bad at all
I have only just started using this product. I have tasted other similar products and it tastes no worse than chocolate soy milk. The complaints about its taste seem silly to me. My girlfriend has won amateur body building contests and she has just started training me, so I have not yet seen any results from this product, but I can tell you right now, the taste of the chocolate version is good.

  1.  can be drank straight for weight loss or combined for standard protein
if you are intending on losing weight drink straight as a meal replacement and the taste is a little rough but for 210 calories, 50 g protein, and 0 g per serving, anything better-tasting than poop is worth it. however, after a workout don't drink straight- i recommend mixing with a cup skim milk and handful of rice krispies which should supply the carbs necessary to put back glycogen w/ minimal carbs, while the milk provides long release of casein protein. the option of mixing it with other things for post workout or leaving it alone is why i think its the best available.

  1.  excellent product!!!
Not sure what dd from richmond is talking about. If you want to build lean muscle, you need plenty of protein and Isopure delivers. You don't need 2200 calories of crap mixed in a glass taken all at once...unless you want to build mass in your gut. If you want to build muscle AND maintain a 6 pack stomach you need 5-6 meals per day spreading out your clean carbs and 1.5 grams of protein per lb of body weight. Isopure is the best I have ever tried and it is a big part of my daily routine. It mixes so easily in water and the Dutch Chocolate tastes the best!!! I look forward to my shakes all day.

  1.  Way off track!!!
Most people that use this product are the ones trying to lose weight. If you are looking for muscle growth, this is not ur product!!!! You need a product that has a heck of a lot more than 80 cal's and 0 carb. My hubby's protein has 2200 cal's, mixed with milk wich puts it up there. I know this, b/c hubby has had drastic results in just a little while. As far as weight loss, a good diet and exercise program need. It works, but you get tired of it after awhile... I just wish it didn't foam as much.....

  1.  STRAWBERRIES N CREAM! MMHM GOOD
This whey protetin is better than anything Ive tried in the past. EAS, GNC, METHOXYPRO, CYTOSPORT, OPTIMUM, ETC. Once I graduated from college I stopped lifting for about 6months and just got back into it. I saw results in my upper body after one week in regards to muscule definition. By the way, you dont buy Whey Protein for the taste you buy it for YOUR Body. I honestly cannot get over how many people are complaining about the taste. Buy the Strawberries N' Cream, mix it with water in a blender. and add 4-6 ice cubes. Delicious! Are you kiddin me, stop the whining, about the taste, Individuals buy and take protein because they seek results, NOT FOR TASTE! The taste is used to enhance the offer it is a benefit, that is why companies make so many flavors, as an added incentive. It is an advantage to the consumer, but by no means is it a reason to decide not to take protein, this is for your body not your taste buds. Grow up people. This stuff works great because you purchase the product for its results, that why you went to buy the damn thing in the first place. And the dude who said he experienced hair growth, Im with you on that except not on my head because Im straight there but in other places, haha. And use a frickin blender people! Sayin it dont mix well with a spoon, DUH.

I'm in the service and can't afford to buy this stuff and drink it and get results. I have to eat egg whites from the mess hall, along with MRE's it sucks bad . I mean real bad. I don't like being in the service but I'm not real smart so I have no other choice at the moment. I wish I could get a discount on this stuff so I too can drink it and get results like everyone else on here. Too bad us idiots that ensure that a free market continues to exist never catch a break. Hello everyone! I work out 6 days a week. Everyother day I do full body weights and then I do 35-45 mins of cardio daily. I was just adviced to use this product of approx. 4 scoops a day. My goal is to SLIM down and TONE. I watch my calorie intake. I am 5'3" and currently weigh 137. However only a few days ago I was down at 130. Wondering if protein is not appropriate for me. I am trying to get down at 120 lbs. Please help. By the way I have used the Strawberry-Cream flavor and I LOVE the taste. Mix with fat-free milk. You have strawberry milk. Mix it in yoplait fat free yogurt and or add to my oatmeal it is THE BOMB! Tastes great! No residue or grainy texture. Definately smooth!

The vinilla is the only flavor i tried and it tastes great. I have to say if u dont like it somethings wrong with you i have tried so many protines brands before and ive tasted some nasty stuff. I play Football, wrestle, and do track and this stuff gives you results quick. It mixes very easy too. I also used High5 which is another great protine but its expensive and doesnt mix well so i go with this. They both give me great results but Isopure is better overall.

  1.  Not worth the taste!
I was excited to find a lactose-free protein drink (as I am lactose-intolerant). The taste is so terrible (it leaves me nauseous for hours!) that I'm throwing out the rest of the cannister ($50 gone to waste) and going back other better- tasting protein shakes, even if the lactose in them causes a little pain. Really - just thinking about drinking it again makes me feel a little ill. But, apparently, if you can take the taste, it's a great supplement - I just can't get through enough of it to tell the difference.

I love this stuff, althought its one of the rarer flavors, Alpine Punch is delicious! I have tried other proteins that only come in Vanilla and Chocolate, and mixing that stuff with water is just a no no.... milk was the only way, but with fruit punch, water is perfect, not to mention the mass you notice in a few weeks off this stuff, i stand by it 100%

Quality equals or exceeds other products. I prefer the creamy vanilla and mix it with either yogurt, fruit, fruit juice and sometimes gatorade. If you mix the creamy vanilla with orange gatorade, it tastes like a creamsicle. Anyways, I've put on 15 lbs and increased most of my lifts 10% in the last three months.

  1.  great, pure protein
im 17 now, about 8 months ago i weighed 130 lbs (i am barely 5'9) and after lacrosse season and getting pounded last year by people much larger than me, (i train in MMA, but you cant use that very much in a field sport) i decided to gain a little weight this season. (i used to be really tubby, so i basically was focused on losing weight for a year, where i lost about 20 pounds) and currently im about 160 lbs. i gained about 10 pounds of muscle the first 4 months of weight training that i did, getting me up to 140 lbs, (while still losing a little fat) but i decided to try out a different protein mix (i was using the Usana protein powder, which tasted like crap and left clumpy chunks in the drink) so two months ago i went to a GNC and bought some isopure carb-free straw & cream flavor, and although it tastes very watery in just 12 ounces of water, i refuse to add "taste" to it on the sacrifice of low-calories/no carbs, aka adding milk, etc to it. after 2 motnhs (half the time) i gained almost 20 pounds of muscle (twice the muscle) while still keeping slim it mixes great, especially compared to other powder's i have used, so i dont know what some of the other people are talking about... one thing i did notice is although the taste isnt exactly good (which i dont mind, its not supposed to be a treat, its pure protein), is that the product has NO lactose in it, so although you get that "uck" feeling, you dont get a sour stomach afterwards like other products, especially if taken before a workout. i suggest this to anyone looking for a powder that will give them results. probobly the highest protein-to-calorie ratio (with a bunch of vitamins to boot!) in any powder i have come across, p.s. a tasty shake is for sitting on the beach and sipping with a bowl of fruit and sandwich, not for working out... so stop moaning and just drink it.

great source of whey protein. fantastic for morning supplementation and immediately following a workout. for those of you out there who train for the love of the sport know that we eat for fuel, not for taste. as a matter of fact, after eating oatmeal, brown rice, egg whites, plain tuna and bland grilled chicken every day...my isopure is my dessert as far as taste is concerned.

taste is great i have tried the chocolate flavour. I use it milk and tastes like a chocolate milke shake. Surprizingly enough not only it helps build muscles, but my hair started to grow as well. I have been using this product for a 2 weeks and my friends and family started to notice differnce in my hair. My hair now is thicker and i indeed started to notice hair grown. It also boosts energy. In short this is the best product i have ever used ( and i have tried a couple my self).

  1.  Great properties. Mediocre taste.
If you check out the nutritional aspect, it is extremely good. About 50g of protein, no carbs, with other essential amino acids to help build and maintain muscle growth. However, the only bad part about it is taste. As many have said, taste should not be an issue for the hardcore weightlifter -- you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you're serious about weight lifting, do your best to stomach it down and you'll notice great results. I gave it a 4 because a 5 would constitute for both taste and results.

OK...you add a little juice to the blender...throw in some unsweetened frozen fruit, like a few strawberries, some peach slices, half bannana...and when i'm doing a meal replacement...I even add a small yogurt to the mix...blend well and YUM...it goes down real nice. And, you can add a few ice cubes to thicken it up...the frozen does the trick though...just like a good ole smoothie.

I have been training for over 30 years and I don't know what the heck you people are talking about! This stuff tastes great. Most of you are probably too young to remember drinking the most foul, rotten pig pen tasting, clumpy, industrial waste that you could possibly drink without vomiting (add some raw eggs to make it slide down). Do some of these reviewers gently tap the corners of their mouths with a cloth napkin after slowly sipping down their shakes? Pulleeezze, just shake it up, drink it and get on with it. I buy it, I drink it and I like it. Train smart and get results.

I just got two of these guys for $60 from a sale at my GNC (buy one get one half off). I got two fruit flavors, thinking they would mix and taste like the Isopure RTDs in bottles... boy was I wrong. They don't mix well in water at all, and taste totally different. I bought this brand because it's 100% isolate. The GNC brands and other brands made me feel bloaty and gave be diarrhea when taken more then two times a day. This protein definately doesn't do any of those things. It's very clean but I would suggest the chocolate or strawberries and cream flavors... not the fruit.

  1.  Hmmm...
Yeah, it doesn't mix well. It tastes poor compared to other proteins as well, but thats not such a big issue. No protein poweder tastes great, who cares, thats not the point of it. I still prefer ON 100% Whey Gold std, its cheaper, tastes better, but of course has 3g of carbs more per serving. I try to remember that if I am in a cutting phase doing the low carb thing, that my liver will convert some whey protein into sugar anyway, so I dont think saving 3g of carbs in a protein shake is that important. Either way, cost is my biggest complaint, and I have no reason to believe that the quality of the protein used is any better than Optimum Nutr. or other brands.

first of all, the taste is fantastic!!!! for some of us that require 300-350g of protein a day, isopure makes it easy to accomplish. Protein is just one of the many building blocks to achieving gains. This product isn't designed to help you blow up over night. It was designed to help aid the process over time through rigorous training and dieting. For those of you that knocked this product because you didn't see results, you might want to do a little more research about the sport of bodybuilding and strength training. By the way, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Just shut up and give it a chance, and train HARD!!!!! and it tastes great in water or milk. How bout that rookies!!!!!!!!

The low calorie high protein is great and the creamy vanilla tastes good mixed with skim milk. mix 2 scoops with approx. 12 ounces of skim milk, shake up in empty gatorade bottle, let sit in fridge for 15 minutes and drink. Tastes similar to a milkshake. By far my favorite protein drink.

I hate almost every protein powder there is, so you can imagine that when my trainer told me to go out and buy this stuff how disappointed I was that I had to start drinking this. Isopure is the exact opposite of every other protein powder I have ever had. I have only tried it cold and right after I do any weights, I put a banana in it and it tastes wonderful. I would recommend this product to anyone on the market for a zero carb, high protein, great tasting shake!

  1.  Good quality protein, with not a bad taste
After taking muscle milk for a month i switched because i am trying to drop a couple of pounds, and with muscle milk having somewhere around 700 calories to equal the amount of protein in isopure i figured no matterif it tasted bad the trade of was worth it ( by the way ispore only has 200 calories per 2 scoop sering). First impression of taste was not to great but drinkable( using water ), i beagn to experiment more with preperation methods. I find that you can noy only make it taste great but also use this drink very effectively as a meal replacement by using not 12 oz of skimmed milk (or other fat percentage depending on desired nutritional intake) but 10 oz ( to give it a thicker feel ) and also take a banana break it up throw it in the blender , and of course add the 2 scoops of your isopure, the result is an amazing thick shake! If you do not want a banana in the shake, it tastes just fine by itself with milk. Like i said earlier, i dont like it with just water. Concerning muscle gains, these shakes are not emant to just magically make muscle appear on your bones, like any other protein shake you get out of it what you put into it ( im talking about your workout intensity. )Overall this shake is a great way to get protein into your body, to help it recover and repair muscle quicker for quicker long term gains ( there is no such thing as a quick muscle gain ). My only complaint is as i said the taste with plain water which is nto spectacular but defaitely drinkable.

I can tell you if it is mixed in milk in a container and shaken it is very foamy - like drinkin' air at first. Prefer something else or a tip to reduce the foam.

  1.  It's a waste of money
It's good for people who eat a lot of carbs and lack protein, butmost people need a balance of carbs and protein as a post workout supplement.

  1.  HARD TO SWALLOW
I usually use ProBlend 55 which I found to be great - 55 grams of protein, delicious (vanilla), very easy to drink. But I decided to try Isopure for a change and I think it is very hard to get down and stay down. The taste is not that bad but I find that I cannot drink too much of it ..... it makes me upset and I find nasauous and tired, which I find kinda of strange. I will be returning it ASAP because I already know I will not be able to digest it.

  1.  The inventor should be mega rich for developing this!
Being severely diabetic, hypoglycemia, glucose intolerant and insulin resistant, a zero carb (and fat) protein drink is a Godsend! I drink it before and after a workout! I hope more gets added to it eventually (creatine, glutamine, tarine, etc) This is more than 5 stars!

  1.  You just have to MIX it!
Use room temp water. Then use a hand mixer (electric job or blender) and it comes out smoothe. Add a little ICE in the mix to cool. Blending makes it very thick and tasty. A spoon don't cut it no matter how much you try. This is the best I have tried in all flavors. Good luck!

  1.  Good Gains Bad Taste
This protein works exceptionally well especially for you carb conscious people out there. When mixed with anything high in omega-3s, you can expect considerable results. If only it tasted better.

  1.  Very bad taste
I don't think everyone else here has the ZERO CARB version. There is no way anyone could find this taste acceptable. I have tried many different proteins some good some bad all with far less protein then Isopure so I gave it a shot. It would tastes like salt water if it wasn’t for all the chunks of crap in it. Yes I am using cold water and yes I wait out the 10 minutes the directions give out… its horrible. But for a quick mass amount of protein (50g) with 212 calorie I will swallow anything. I would say go with Muscle Milk seeing that they know how to make it taste great but you would consume 700 calories to get the protein and most likely just feel gross. Good luck and try mixing it with your Nitrics

  1.  Tasted Nasty
This product does not taste very good. I tried alpine punch and chocolate and I was expecting this really good dring. I almost threw up. I couldn't even finish the 12 oz it was that nasty. Then I tried pro complex another protein drink that has 55g of protein and loved it. The best flavors are rocky road and chocolate I recommend those if you want high protein that tastes amazing

This was the first protien i ever used before. After usign it for about month and a half or so, i couldn't notice that much a difference, i dont no if i was suppose to or not tho. All the difference i noticed could have been achieved just by goin to the gym and working hard. Taste pretty good. Doesnt mix great, but not bad....i had the chocolate. Im gerttin Russian Bear now. I dont really think it is worth the $33...

  1.  Refrigerate our water
Isopure is by far the best tasting protein mix I have tried. Forget adding ice cubes because that doesnt work all that well. Just keep a container of water in the fridge. This product is awesome! Just make sure you use cold water because I hated it with tap water.

  1.  I drink it every day!
I drink the chocolate drink every morning on my way in to work. It is a quick, easy way to get 50 g of protein to kick off the day! I have to put ice in it, however. To me it tastes really bad with tap water only. The coldness of the ice makes it much more tolerable. I recommend it highly for people that have had weight loss sugery as well. It is easy to drink, doesn't have sugar, and gives you plenty of protein.

  1.  It made me feel tired
When I took this product it made me feel tired. Sure it is loaded with protein but it made me feel tired and a good protein drink should not do that. Also it did not even taste all that great. The taste was ok for a PURE protein but not the best. I recomend that if u want a good protein drink that taste great and does not make you tired that you try Met-rx Ultramyosyn Whey Protein. It taste GREAT and does not make you tired and can be mixed just as easily in water as the isopure protein drink. I bought 5 lbs of it for 20 dollars at the local health food store. So it is not too expencive either.

  1.  it is the Best protein drink I have tried so far
I have tried a few different kinds of protein drinks in the past but all of them were all clumpy when mixing them and did not mix very well. They also had lots of extras in them which i did not like that about them. but for isopure's protein drink, it mixes great tast good even in just plain cold water with some ice. and u get more protein for ur dollar than those other proteins. you get 83% protein. the rest of it is just vitamins and minerals and a very low amount of sodium. other protein drinks that I have had only had 30% or 50% protein at the most and had colesteral and saturated fat which are not good for the Body. so far I have only tried the vanilla flavor so I do not know how the other flavors taste, but I am sure they are most likely just as good. I highly recomend this protein supplement to those of u that want good quality pure protein without all the extras, and to those of u that are looking to gain lean muscle.

I've tried Isopure Zero Carb. I've used the chocolate, strawberry, and fruit punch flavors and all tasted nasty. There a good company so i'm not going to say dont use it but nobody I know at my gym likes this stuff.

  1.  THE PERFECT SHAKE AFTER A WORKOUT!
This is a great shake to have after your workout, especially if you workout late in the evening. There's no carbs to worry about and it's very high in protein. I recommend this brand for those who are trying to get lean muscle mass and trying to lose fat at the same time!
